人工智能時代的運籌學與管理科學

This talk aims to present several operations research and management science (ORMS) problems, models, and algorithms for AI such as the LLM training and inferencing. In particular, we describe how classic management models/theories, such as online resource allocation, may be applied to accelerate and improve the Training/Inferencing algorithms that are popularly used in LLMs. On the other hand, we show breakthroughs in classical Optimization (LP and SDP) Solver development aided by AI-related techniques and their implementations on GPU.

主講人簡介：

葉蔭宇(Yinyu Ye), 原斯坦福大學李國鼎講席教授，現任上海交通大學, 上海數學交叉科學院，香港中文大學深圳和香港科技大學訪問講席教授。他的主要研究方向為連續和離散優化，數據科學及應用，數字算法設計及分析，算法博弈及市場均衡，運籌及管理科學等; 他和其他科學家開創了內點優化算法，錐規劃模型，分布式魯棒優化，在線線性規劃和學習，強化學習和馬可夫過程及非凸優化算法分析等。他與學生多次榮獲重要學術獎項，包括：2006 INFORMS Farkas Prize (首位獲獎者)，2009年約翰·馮·洛伊曼理論獎，國際數學規劃2012 Tseng Lectureship Prize (首位獲獎者每三年)，2014美國工業及應用數學學會優化獎 (每三年)，2025 Constantin Caratheodory Prize of the全局優化 Congress。
